My name is Margo Lauer and I am totally addicted to customizing. I am happily married and have 5 beautiful children that are growing up way too fast. I started collecting Barbies in 1994 while buying a doll that was supposed to be for my daughter and kept it! It was Emerald Elegance from Toys R Us. I always loved the really glamorous big puffy dresses and slinky tight fitting tailored gowns. I wasn't always able to find what I wanted for my collection so while surfing ebay one night I came a crossed a customized doll and thought I could do that! I think I started in 1996 and haven't stopped since. It has been an amazing journey that has given me so much joy meeting talented artists, collectors and new friends that hold the same interest I do. A few people suggested that I start selling them and I never thought my dolls were good enough but now I have sold dolls to people all over the world. My most favorite doll was "Night of the Ball" which I sold. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that my creations are out there!
