Entry #20: Sand in Your Shorts by Heather Billings
Not only does she have sand in her shorts; the hors d'overes appear to be there too! A little stinker of a lobster hitches a ride on her shorts--though apparently he's got a hold of something beneath the surface as well! Sand In Your Shorts has had a full facial repaint, complete with "shocked" eyes, exaggerated quizzical eyebrow, and individual teeth. All beading has been hand-done by me. This doll will remain in my personal collection after the contest. Sand In Your Shorts has also had her hair restyled into a gentle flip and her arms have been specially reformed to suit her surprised expression.
About me:
I'm a 16-year-old "Barbie freak" who has over three hundred dolls. Most of my spare time is spent customizing, and I often joke that the only reason I know the date is because of the deadline of the contest doll I'm working on! I've been customizing for two years.
