Entry #12: Martina by Kathy Mroczko
"Martina, stirred, but not shaken" is a OOAK doll wearing an original
fashion of silver metallic knit. Slim fitting sheath is accented by a wire
hemmed overskirt with a hand beaded olive. Matching gloves, and coordinated
jewelry complete the look. Dress is non removeable. Hair has been tightly
twisted and each curl topped with a small beaded pin. Face has been
completely repainted and sealed. Her eyes are finished off with custom
rooted lashes.
Kathy Mroczko is a stay at home mom, who does customizing to keep sane.
She has been working on dolls for about 4 years. Her specialties are
fantasy type dolls, and anything with a weird color hair.
